The Material Girl didn't wear much material Sunday night, as
she flashed her derriere on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards.
Madonna made a cheeky entrance to the music industry’s big
event clad in a Givenchy outfit inspired by her new music video.
The dominatrix-cum-matador number not only showed off the
“Like a Virgin” singer’s bust, but featured a leather-looking strap that
appeared to be holding up the 56-year-old mom’s rear end.
One of the early awards went to “Stay with me” singer Sam
Smith, who took home Best New Artist.
“I've got to try and say something without crying,” Smith
said after being handed the award from Taylor Swift. “Mom and Dad, I won a
Grammy!”
He didn't mention Tom Petty, with whom he was forced to
share writing credit for his biggest hit after “Stay with me” was found to be
similar to Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” He later took home an award for Best
Pop Vocal Album.
