She has been a spellbinding red carpet fixture as her film
Spotlight sweeps awards season.
And on Friday night, Rachel McAdams was at it again, but
this time miles away from Hollywood at the Santa Barbara International Film
Festival.
Stepped into a pair of elegant Christian Louboutin heels,
the 37-year-old was white hot in a tank top dress with a peplum hemline.
The actress and her Spotlight co-stars Michael Keaton and
Mark Ruffalo were to be honoured with the American Riviera award for their
performances in their critically acclaimed and Oscar-nominated film.
But Rachel was poised to steal the spotlight in her elegant
and summery frock, with a slick of hot red lipstick adding a pop of colour.
She wore her bright blonde hair down in a loose wave and
finished off her makeup with a flattering swipe of blush.
Hand on hip, the red carpet vet looked fantastic as she
spellbound fans with her dazzling array of poses.
At the Santa Barbara International Film Festival this week,
Rachel McAdams arrived ready to collect the American Riviera award alongside
co-stars of new film Spotlight: Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo.
Being up for an award, naturally the actress was going to
turn up to the event in style and she certainly didn't disappoint. The 37 year
old chose a white body-skimming fishtail number that flattered her figure and
added height with pretty Louboutin pumps.
The dress with its mesh printed design was of course by
Jonathan Simkhai who favours texture and prints on the finish of his pieces.

The actress arrived bundled up in a chic and silky baby pink
coat, which she wore delicately over her shoulders.
It's been a busy month thus far for Rachel, who has been
busy on the red carpet as her film Spotlight faces off with other movies during
awards season.
The actress has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best
Supporting Actress, and Spotlight itself is also up for Best Picture.
During the SAG Awards, Rachel was nominated in the
Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role category for her
role as investigative journalist in Spotlight.
Although she lost out to Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl),
Rachel had other cause for celebration.
The film - which follows the Boston Globe's 2001
investigation of child abuse in the Catholic Church nabbed the trophy for
Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
Rachel was giddy and smiling as she joined her castmates
Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo on stage to accept the award.
'No way,' Mark Ruffalo said, adding that the win served to
honor the victims and survivors 'of one of the most horrific things that our
culture has allowed to happen.
Ruffalo continued: 'And this movie allows them to be seen …
in a world that has been blind to them.'
