She suffered a shock loss in the final of the Australian
Open over the weekend.
But Serena Williams put her sporting setback behind her as
she enjoyed a night out in her home town of Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The tennis star partied at celeb favourite hotspot The Nice
Guy, adding a touch of spice to her casual outfit by flashing her black bra
under her unbuttoned shirt.
Serena, 34, unbuttoned her pink checked shirt to flash her
lacy bra, and her curves, on the night out.
She kept the rest of her party look low key with a pair of
skinny black trousers and boots, accessorising with a wide-brimmed hat and a
bright red manicure.
The sportswoman added plenty of bling to her casual ensemble
with a pair of sparkling drop earrings, a matching diamond pendant and a huge
ring.
Clutching her phone, the tennis superstar left the popular
West Hollywood nightspot with a female pal.
The American recently spoke to Harper's Bazaar about what
makes a woman attractive, insisting that sexiness comes from within.
'Being sexy is really about how you carry yourself. Strength
and confidence equal sexy,' she explained.
Serena also stressed the importance of always being your
authentic self - especially when dressing for a first date because 'your true
colours will show through in the end'.
'I think that goes back to always being yourself from the
beginning. Be confident of your inner strength and beauty, and that will be
reflected on the outside,' she added.
Serena's hopes of securing another win at the Australian
Open in Melbourne came crashing to a halt when she was beaten by first time
Slam finalist Angelique Kerber in the final over the weekend.
It marked William's first ever loss in the final of the
Australian Open, and halted her chance to equal Steffi Graf's Open-era record
of 22 Grand Slam titles.
