A teenager, who it is claimed modelled himself on Justin
Bieber, has been found guilty of a string of sex offences with under-age
schoolgirls.
Nicholas Faithfull is facing jail after a jury convicted him
of offences that were committed over the course of 18 months.
The blond-haired boy slept with four of the girls and forced
another, aged just 13 years, to perform a sex act on him near a portable toilet
in a graveyard to ‘prove she loved him.
Jurors were told that Faithfull ‘encouraged and pestered’
girls to have sex with him and bombarded them with messages on social media
while trying to groom them.
He sent one of them photos of his penis and encouraged them
to send naked pictures of themselves back to him.
His victims were aged between 13 and 15 years, while he was
aged 18 or 19 when the offences took place.
Now aged 20 years, Faithfull showed no emotion in Reading
Crown Court as the jury returned guilty verdicts on eight counts of sexual
activity with a child.
He was told to expect a jail sentence and given a warning by
the judge to stay off the internet – having breached a condition of his bail
while awaiting trial by posting a video on YouTube.
During the course of his trial it emerged that he knew the
ages of some of his victims, but denied having sex with them.
He also claimed not to have known the ages of the other
girls when he slept with them and, in one instance, forced a girl to perform
oral sex on him.
Faithfull, of Sevenoaks Road, Earley, admitted a further
charge of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child before his trial.
He was released on bail and told to return to court on April
22, when he will learn his fate.
