Lupita Nyong'o is a regular on the best dressed list,
proving she can elegantly master any color of the rainbow.
And on Thursday, the 12 Years A Slave star looked stunning
in a psychedelic dress at the 8th annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood
Luncheon in Los Angeles.
Inside the event, the 31-year-old Oscar winning actress
could not stop smiling as she presented the Vanguard Award to the cast of one
of her favourite shows, Orange Is The New Black.
Lupita displayed her svelte frame in a myriad of hues
donning a yellow, orange, blue, pink and maroon design.
The Yale University graduate kept her accessories simple to
keep all eyes on her sleeveless frock.
She finished her look with a light pink lip and subtle
swipes of dark eye shadow.
Lupita made a brief speech about not one but seven of the
night's prestigious honorees.
Orange Is The New Black stars Uzo Aduba, Laverne Cox, Samira
Wiley, Danielle Brooks, Vicky Jeudy, Adriennce C Moore and Lorraine Toussaint
were all presented with the award 'to honor fresh and innovative storytelling
as well as groundbreaking portrayals'.
Along with the Netflix series ensemble, Regina King, Ruth E
Carter and British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw were the event's awardees.
Last year, Lupita accepted the honour for best breakout
performance for role as Patsey in the Brad Pitt-produced blockbuster 12 Years A
Slave.
