Prince Harry has crowd in stitches as he visits charity providing housing to ex-servicemen in Newcastle

Prince Harry, 30, spent the afternoon visiting Launchpad, an affordable housing charity for former soldiers

Before touring the accommodation in Byker, Newcastle, the royal spent time meeting the general public

Earlier in the day, Harry spent the afternoon tramping through the Frankham Woods in Northumberland

He was there to meet conservationists from the Red Squirrels Northern England project
Red squirrels are increasingly endangered in the UK, England especially, largely due to invading greys

Prince Harry proved that he was the king of comedy as he had children in stitches during a tour of Launchpad, a charity which provides affordable housing for former soldiers, late this afternoon.

The 30-year-old royal spent several minutes entertaining members of the public, who had waited patiently all day to greet him outside Avondale House in Byker, Newcastle.

Harry managed to get a giggle from most of the chilly crowd as he larked around with some of the younger members of the group.
