Opposition candidate Muhammadu Buhari on historic victory as
newly elected Nigerian President to be sworn in on May 29th 2015.
Gen Buhari, a former military ruler, is ahead by almost
three million votes, the Analysts say it is hard to see the opposition winning
a presidential election in Nigeria, Africa's most populous state.
Observers have generally praised the election but there have
been allegations of fraud, which could lead to protests and violence in later
day. Nigerians from all works of life speaks with one voice to eradicate weak government on the issue of corruption, economy, Boko Harram and security.
More than 800 people were killed in protests after Mr Jonathan
beat Gen Buhari in the previous election, the historic victory for Buhari should
lead the country to rapid economic growth according to the observers.
