19-YEAR-OLD NIGERIAN STUDENT ELECTED COUNCILOR IN LONDON


Although many Nigerians at home and in Diaspora at large observe almost nothing excellent in their land, other than devastated news of Boko Haram suicide bombing detonation up north, Biafra demonstration and several other ill-fated news.

 However, thank goodness there are still lots of happenings across the world involving Nigerians, archiving laudable laurels and countless height in a various career fields.

Recently a 19-year-old final year student, Aisha Eniola, was voted overwhelmingly by majority of Brent Council London, United Kingdom as Councillor.

Her splendour through the dialogues that preceded the actual selection warmed up your ex into your bears regarding inhabitants on the keep.

Aisha polled 2, 160 votes to emerge on top, whipping Simon Erskine, of the Green Party, who garnered 459 votes and Paul Fowler, of the Liberal Democrat, who polled 313. Labour Party has continually held through to Harlesden, one of Labour strongest wards inside the Borough.

Aisha Eniola is currently the youngest Councillor in Brent council and stated that she hoped to inspire youths to participate in politics.
