Sam Burgess and his partner Phoebe
Hooke have tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at her parent's sprawling home in
Bowral, in the Southern Highlands.
Around 200 guests attended the wedding - including Russell
Crowe, Greg Inglis, Lote Tuquiri, Steve Menzies, Dylan Walker and Rabbitohs
coach Michael Maguire.
Phoebe stunned in a custom made Alex Perry gown with a
thigh-high split that showed off her enviable figure and toned legs.
The dress featured a plunging neckline, sheer sleeves and
the entire garment was covered with embroidered flowers.
The happy couple walked hand-in-hand down the aisle
following the ceremony, while white rose petals adorned the grass
The bridal party included Phoebe's sisters; Jemima Fairbanks
and Harriet Hooke, her best friend Phoebe White and her new sister-in-law
Yolanda Hodgson.
Guests included current and former league stars Greg Inglis
and his wife Sally, Lote Tuquiri, Steve Menzies, Mark Carroll, John Sutton and
Isaac Luke.
The guests will then move back to the main marquee for a
sit-down dinner where they will be served a traditional English menu including
steak and chips.
As the hours ticked by before their nuptials, the finishing
touches were seen being applied to the property which boasts expansive gardens
and a newly decorated barn.
White ribbons adorned the bridal walkway between Phoebe's
parents' home and a gazebo erected in the house's grounds where the couple, who
met at an Avicii concert in 2014, will say 'I do' under candlelight.
After the ceremony, a reception will take place in the
larger of two marquees set up elsewhere in the house's grounds. Another smaller
tent has also been erected for catering.
Among those expected to speak is Sam's brother George who
earlier this year described the wedding as a 'great time' for the family.
Following speeches and dinner will come performances from
The Nevilles, with the band not expected to begin their set until midnight.
