Saturday 12th March 2016 was another great moment
as Cllr Patricia Ekechi, the Mayor of Enfield launches charity Appeal on Dementia
Care at Forty Hill Enfield London.
The night attracts fellow Mayors from other London Borough,
MPs, freeman of the borough and other dignitaries; Enfield Harmony Choir and
lot of entertainers were on ground grease the occasion.
In her opening remarks, Cllr Patricia says Dementia is a
course that dear to my heart as its awareness is still very low in our community;
she describes the word dementia as a set of symptoms that may include memory loss
and difficulties with thinking, problem-solving or language.
These changes are often small to start with,
but for someone with dementia they have become severe enough to affect daily
life. A person with dementia may also experience changes in their mood or behavior.
She also ceased the opportunity to invite
people to support Chase Farm hospital Dementia fund raising on 15th
April 2016.
