Rita Ora shows off her girly side with a pretty lace dress
and intricate braided hair do as she puts on a more reticent display for
star-studded We Day event
Rita Ora was putting on a more demure display as she lent
her star power to Tuesday's global We Day event in London.
The musician wore a pretty lace-trimmed print dress for the
event at Wembley Arena - after layering up in a fluffy coat and tackling the
conditions in something weather-appropriate.
The singer also showed off an intricate hair do, twisting
her blonde locks into plaits decorated with pearls.
The star continued the girly vibe with her stunning dress.
The boho number featured a delicate lace trim and cuffs and a paisley print, while the above-the-knee hemline showed off her long legs.
Before taking to the stage, Rita wrapped up in a statement coat, matching the nude colour palette of her dress to her outerwear.
She wore her hands in the pockets of her jacket for the red carpet appearance and looked comfortable in front of the cameras before stepping into the cold to greet her young fans.
Rita spoke at the youth-targeted event, which also drew attendance from Talia Storm, Laura Whitmore and Fleur East.
The event is a celebration of youth making a difference in
their local and global communities, while the charity itself lists Nelly
Furtado, Natalie Portman and Demi Lovato as ambassadors.
Rita was invited to speak instead of sing at the event, telling
her Instagram fans: 'So honoured to speak at We Day in London and celebrate all
of the incredible things young people are doing to change the world.
After wowing the crowds, Rita was seen having fun backstage,
spending time with her pet pooch, Cher the Bear.
The star changed out of her pretty stage look and into loose
jeans and a waterproof jacket, to keep dry in the dismal London downpours.
With a big smile on her face, she played with her beloved
pet and chatted with pals backstage.
Rita has taken time out of her jetset schedule - which
includes commitments to fashion, music and TV - to be in attendance.
She's currently anticipating dropping her second studio
album, something that she teased this week with the insight that it will be
about heartache.
Speaking to The Sun, Rita said: 'Yeah, I’ve got about two of
those records. But the thing is I get angry first then I get emotional.
The blonde, who's previously dated Calvin Harris and Ricky
Hil in the public eye, added: 'I hate hate hate hate hate that person and then
I’m like, "Wait a minute, hold on…
'It’s amazing because it is a big transition in my life.
It’s definitely the most emotional album I’ve ever done, but not in a sad way.
It’s angry, it’s happy, it’s love – it’s everything in one.
