Following the controversial issue surrounding Brexit the Labour MP Sulip Saddiq has resigned her position as Labour front bench; She said she can’t support triggering Article 50 as opposed by the Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn.
In her letter to Corbyn, the shadow minister for early years said voting to start the process of leaving the EU would be a betrayal of trust for her north London constituents, three quarters of whom voted to remain in the EU and she feel strongly that the effective way for her to tackle Theresa May is by sitting at the back bench.
Jeremy should not be threatening or canvassing his MP's to vote against the wish of their constituency, that is misleading; you can’t eat your cake and have it, you can’t stand in between as a leader, for or against; if SNP, Lib Dem could support their voters what is stopping Jeremy for voting against triggering article 50 or requesting for second referendum. Upcoming election 2020 is dicey for Labour party, if the leader continues to be waiving.
