The Queen has given permission for three extra garden parties to be held at Buckingham Palace this year with Prince Harry hosting one solo for the first time.
Former soldier Harry, 32, will join current and former members of the military at the annual Not Forgotten Association Garden Party on May 30.
He is also holding the Party at the Palace on May 13, jointly hosted with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to honour the children of those who have died serving in the armed forces.
Kensington Palace said the Not Forgotten event - held each summer in the gardens of the Queen's London home - will be the first time Harry has hosted a garden party by himself.
The association offers entertainment and recreation for thousands of wounded, injured and sick military personnel and veterans.
Harry, who set up the Invictus Games tournament for wounded former servicemen and women, is known for his dedication to supporting those injured in the line of duty.
In previous years, the garden party has been hosted by the Duke of York, the Princess Royal and the Queen.
The third additional garden party will be held by the Duke of York, accompanied by his daughter Princess Eugenie, on May 25 to mark 100 years of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Each summer, the Queen also hosts up to three garden parties at the palace, as well as one at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who is due to retire from public duties in the autumn, is set to attend the regular garden parties in London on May 16, May 23 and June 1 and in Edinburgh on
July 4th.
