His phenomenal run on Strictly Come Dancing came to an end
with a band on Saturday, as he was crowned the show's winner.
And just 24 hours after he boogied his way to victory,
sports presenter Ore Oduba couldn't help but smile as the newly crowned
glitterball champion and his wife, Portia, arrived on the red carpet at the
2016 Sports Personality Of The Year Awards, after admitting that the show had
caused him to 'neglect' his love.
Putting on a loved-up display as they arrived at the annual
sporting ceremony, held at The Vox in Birmingham, the presenter, 30, and his
bride looked incredibly loved-up as he said: 'Now I've got time for my wife.
Dancing King: Strictly champ Ore Oduba and wife Portia
arrived on the red carpet at the 2016 Sports Personality Of The Year Awards at
Birmingham's Genting Arena on Sunday night
Keeping the rest of his look in keeping with the dapper
piece of tailoring, Ore rocked a pressed white shirt, black tie, trousers and a
pair of patent black lace-up shoes.
Cuddling up to his wife as he arrived at the event, the
Strictly Come Dancing champion was all smiles as he and his wife arrived at the
star-studded sporting event as The Sun reports he has sparked a £500k bidding
war between the BBC and ITV.
Meanwhile, Portia, who married the sports presenter last
year, cut a glamorous figure in a long white dress, which was cinched around
her waist. The blonde beauty went for an asymmetrical number which featured an
elegant, sweeping neckline.
The white dress featured a long sash belt at the waist,
which cinched in the dress and helped to accentuate Portia's phenomenal figure.
She rounded her look off with a pair of black stilettos,
which contrasted against her dress and helped to accentuate her figure further.
The night before, Ore told his dance partner Joanne Clifton,
‘I love you with all my heart’ when lifting the Glitterball trophy.
But whilst viewers might have been found his comments to
Joanne Clifton a little awkward, it seems they were yet another example of
Oduba’s emotional side - rather than any cause for concern.
Indeed the 30-year-old later credited his new wife, Portia,
for being his ‘anchor’ during the competition, but still admitted to
‘neglecting’ her because of the intense training regime.
